WHAT TO EXPECT FROM YOUR FIRST BRAZILIAN WAX

You’ve made an appointment! …Now what?

Getting a Brazilian Wax for the first time is a big deal. You have to strip down to your nethers while a new person rips the hair right out of you. You’ve been told you would be screaming in pain and hate it. Well guess what? That’s not how we roll here at W Waxing Salon.

If you’re new to waxing, of course your going to feel nervous and hesitant, but we make the process more easy-going and comfortable than you could ever imagine! Sure, it may feel uncomfortable at first… but the pain literally lasts no longer than 2 seconds. And that 2 seconds of pain? It reveals a month long of smooth and silky skin! Aka–it’s totally worth it. Ladies, can I get an amen?

Here’s the play-by-play of what to expect:

First, you’re going to walk in and our lovely receptionist will greet you and check you in. Then, you will wait no longer than a few minutes before your waxing technician will walk you to your private spa room. You’ll have enough time to go to the restroom ahead of time to freshen up… or take big deep breaths to calm the nerves! But, it will be okay.

Once you are in your room, you will be left alone for a few minutes to privately undress from the waist down and lay on the waxing table (which is actually pretty comfortable and you could totally take a nap there. Just sayin’)

Your waxing pro will come in the room when you are ready to go.

Our staff are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet, so prepare to feel comfortable and at home! You’ll end up in a great conversation, so by the time the wax is over, you’ll be like “What?! This just happened?” Yeah. It happens all the time.

One thing to note is we use “hard wax,” which is more effective for Brazilian waxes. More effective = less time on the table = less painful! #BOOM

After our waxing technician has removed all unwanted hair, you are going to be left with silky and smooth skin. You’re going to notice a rise in happiness. You’re also going to notice an increase in confidence instantly. These, fortunately, are the side-effects of a Brazilian Wax… Think you can handle it?

We treat the skin with healing cream to help speed up the recovery process, let you get dressed again, then pay and you’re ready to conquer the world!
